Ohio Living Ranked by Fortune as Top 50 Best Workplaces for Aging Services
It was announced today that Ohio Living has been nationally ranked at #19 on Fortune magazine’s list of Best Workplaces in Aging Services for 2021. It’s the third time Ohio Living has been ranked on the list since its inception in 2018.
The results were determined by survey feedback from over 162,000 employees working in the United States senior housing and care industry. Ohio Living’s certification as a Great Place to Work® is what qualified it to be considered for this prestigious honor.
“Our employees are the heart of what we do here at Ohio Living,” says Laurence Gumina, Ohio Living CEO. “We take great pride in ensuring our employees are equipped with the best training and education to help them succeed in their positions. We believe in providing our team members with the resources and environment they need to thrive each day.”
As a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, Ohio Living identifies ten beliefs at the core of its operation — inclusiveness, respect, innovation, dedicated staff and volunteers, high ethical standards, high-quality and caring service, being a good neighbor, responsiveness, financial stability and open dialogue. Its culture of appreciation and recognition is designed to reward living out each of these values. “Our team members embody these foundational beliefs each day, and I am proud to support and serve along each and every one of them,” Gumina says.
