Team Full of Stars: Honoring Home Health & Hospice Volunteers

We rolled out the red carpet for our deserving volunteers on April 28, at the annual Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice – Greater Akron Volunteer Recognition Luncheon. Attendees were treated to lunch, movie-style refreshments and even a personalized giveaway. Just like in the movies, our volunteers play an integral role in what’s happening “on stage” and behind the scenes, 365 days a year.
The event’s theme, set by the Points of Light organization, was “Shining a light on the people and causes that inspire us to serve.” Our volunteers faithfully give of themselves, assisting with a wide range of activities, such as special employee events, writing letters, visiting/calling patients, and administrative tasks.
Volunteer Service Awards were extended to the below volunteers for their years of dedicated service.
Michael M. - One year - 99.57 hours
Adrienne P. - One year - 23.70 hours
Sandy L. - Two years - 18 hours
Ron L. - Five years - 585.72 hours
Caitlin V. - Seven years - 170.25 hours
Ed S. - Ten years - 882.75 hours
Steve T. - 12 years - 151.52 hours
