Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice Honors Veterans

Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice, formerly Senior Independence, celebrated celebrate Veteran’s Day Thursday by honoring those who have served our country.

Our team held a special ceremony at Bel Air Care Center, a five-star continuing care retirement community located at 2350 South Cherry Street in Alliance, Ohio.

During the ceremony, Ohio Living Chaplain Dan Tayman pinned 13 residents who have served in various branches of the military with American flag pins and awarding certificates. Among them, his father.

Family and friends will be attending the event to recognize the veterans. Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Alliance area will provide refreshments as well.

“We are proud to have this opportunity to honor our veterans who fought for our country during this special event,” said Sarah Hadley, executive director of Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice of Greater Youngstown.
