Lake Vista of Cortland Expands Rehabilitation Center

CORTLAND, Ohio -- A continuing care retirement community expands its rehabilitation center, providing guests with successful, comprehensive therapies.

Lake Vista of Cortland's new 19-bed rehab center offers spacious, private rooms that feature private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and gorgeous views.

Guests relax in a comfy, peaceful common area and indulge in their own special dining room. The cutting-edge therapy gym includes innovative equipment, such as an occupational therapy bathroom and kitchen, to help guests recover quickly.

At the heart of the center is Lake Vista's expertly trained and attentive staff who cares for patients after hospitalization for neurological diseases, orthopedic surgery, cardiovascular events or other debilitating conditions.

Nurses and therapists evaluate each guest and create a rehabilitation plan for the quickest and most successful treatment possible.

"Our rehabilitation center allows for personal, one-on-one care by a licensed therapist who focuses on the guest and his or her specific rehabilitation needs. It's our personal attention that gets guests closer to home," says Troy Snyder, Lake Vista executive director.
