Sydney McBride, MHA, LNHA, CPASRM  (smcbride@ohioliving.org)

Executive Director, Sydney McBride, came to Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber in January 2021.  Previously the Executive Director at Ohio Living Quaker Heights (June 2015 - January 2021), Sydney is a graduate from Earlham College. While at Earlham she majored in Biochemistry with both an academic and extracurricular focus in healthcare. Through a series of life's twists and turns she was presented with a year long Administrator-in-Training Fellowship here at Quaker Heights and she jumped at the opportunity to explore the administrative side of healthcare. She brought with her an endless amount of energy and thirst for knowledge. Upon completion of her Administrator-in-Training Fellowship, June 2016, she successfully passed her state and federal exams to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Sydney has since continued to expand her knowledge in the field by graduating from the Friends Services for the Aging Leadership Institute, becoming a Certified Professional in Aging Services Risk Management, and earning a Masters in Healthcare Administration Degree from the University of Cincinnati
