National Library Week Comes to Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber April 9 and April 11!

Posted on March 26, 2019 in Active Aging, In The News, Learning

The week of April 7 is National Library Week. Our lifelong learners love to honor one of our favorite "holidays" here at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber. Join us in the auditorium on Tuesday, April 9 at 10:30. Kassie Rose and Robin Nesbitt will discuss “live and in person” their recommendations for your reading enjoyment. They appear weekly on WOSU to discuss books, and now you will have an opportunity to meet them in person! Bring a favorite title to share with the group and with the panelists.

Then on Thursday, April 11 at 10:30 in the auditorium join us for Nancy Kangas, poet and art teacher based in Columbus, Ohio. Nancy will discuss the importance of poetry and the young mind, and share a documentary that she developed and that was shown last year at OSU. Bring a favorite poem from your childhood, and if time permits, you can share it with the group.
