Promoting Intergenerational Learning
Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice is proud to collaborate with Youngstown State University on the Ohio Living Vivo Center! This innovative senior center is managed by Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice staff. The YSU gerontology program works directly with Ohio Living to provide intergenerational programming that benefits seniors and provides students with opportunities for professional development and mentorship.
The Ohio Living Vivo Center offers a wide variety of programming to meet participants’ social, physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs, helping them stay healthy and independent longer. Many have reported delaying the onset of a chronic disease, or learning to manage it, because of what they learned at a senior center.
