Ohio Living Education Assistance Program Helps Employee Reach New Heights

Posted on February 15, 2024 in

Big congrats to Jessica, a sales and admissions associate at Ohio Living Swan Creek, for becoming a college grad! Using her Ohio Living education assistance benefit, Jessica recently earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Toledo.

Ohio Living partners with employees for growth and development, through general orientation, off-site and classroom-based education and development, online learning, continuing education (CEUs) and education assistance. Eligible employees pursuing long-term care industry-related degrees can participate in the education assistance program.

Undergraduate or advanced degrees from accredited institutions will be considered, and, in addition, courses that result in job-related certification may be available. Nurse aides may apply for STNA training reimbursement if trained at a non-Ohio Living site.

For undergraduate assistance, employees must work at least 20 hours per week, have completed six months of active service, and have no disciplinary warnings within six months prior to the benefit application. For assistance with advanced degrees, employees must be full-time and have been continuously employed for a minimum of three years.
