2019: A Trio Film Experience: August 8, 15, 22
Posted on July 30, 2019 in In The News, Learning
If you've been to ElderQuest, this program will sound quite familiar. The same leaders who have carried on ElderQuest for the last 12 years also founded A Trio Film Experience. Join us for the second annual round of films! Every Thursday for three weeks view and discuss three films with us.
A Trio Film Experience is centered on an alternative view of aging. Instead of a process of decline, aging can metamorphose into a positive and transcendent experience. Aging becomes an opportunity to re-discover life and continue growing. As our wisdom grows, so does our integrity. Join like-minded thinkers and film-goers August 8, 15 and 22 at 1pm in our auditorium here at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber.
Each week, after viewing the film, partake in a facilitated discussion and reflection regarding the film and its themes.
Films to be Explored:
August 8: Steel Magnolias
August 15: Five Flights Up
August 22: The Journey
All sessions begin at 1pm and end around 3:30pm.
Sign up for one or all three sessions! RSVP by contacting Michelle Vance at 614.228.8888 or mvance@ohioliving.org. You may also RSVP via our event page. Click the link and click on the event you'd like to sign up for. There will be an RSVP form on each event's page.
